# Why won't my Audio-Technica AT-LP60X turntable start?

## Please ensure that the drive belt is correctly attached to the gold-colored motor pulley under the platter.

- Under the platter of the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X series turntable, there is a small white cylindrical piece on the right side.
- This is easily confused with the golden motor pulley on the left side under the platter.
- You want to ensure that the drive belt is correctly attached to the gold-colored motor pulley on the left and not the white cylindrical piece on the right.
- When the belt is installed around the stationary white piece, it prevents the start and stop buttons from working and the tonearm and platter from moving.
